We’re back for round 3 of the 2020 Six Nations Championship and the next stab in the dark for the 2020 PSA Academies Six Nations Predictions Challenge. After a decent 15 points haul from Data Shield’s Cliff Hutchings, it’s the turn of PSA Academies supporter and friend Andy Hiatt of Hiatt Financial Ltd. to guess/bluff his way through this week’s games.
First, up the positions after week 2;
Match Results
Ireland 24 – Wales 14
Scotland 6 – England 13
France 35 – Italy 22
Outright 1st Place – 30 points – Johne Murphy – the only team member with a 100% prediction record for the match winners after 2 rounds.
Joint 2nd Place – 25 points – four-way tie (Philippe Saint-Andre, Ian Lewis, Neil Marchant & the Rotating Guests) – Wales’ capitulation in Dublin was expensive for a few, splitting the chasing pack. Also, there were a few near misses on the correct margin prediction in the Scotland v England game.
Joint 3rd Place – 20 points – three-way tie (Ben Sinclair, Cory Brown & Graham Ross) – bit a gap opening up in the wooden spoon stakes, piling on the pressure for a few big calls this weekend!
REMINDER – the 2020 6 Nations Predictions Challenge rules are simple. Each competitor needs to give us a winner prediction and winning margin (if a draw was predicted, they need to predict the total match points). It is 5 points for a correct result prediction and 5 points for a correct winning margin/total draw match points total.
The ‘expert’ with the most points at the end of the tournament is crowned the 6 Nations Predictions Challenge ‘King of the Picks’.
