Tignes Rugby Academy Week 3 saw a new batch of excited players arrive in Tignes, ready for a full on high performance rugby experience.
The group, comprising of an extended group of advanced players, also saw nine nationalities represented, some rugby powers (England, Ireland, France, South Africa, Italy) and some not (Germany, The Netherlands, Hong Kong, Belgium).
The arrival day saw the group congregate for their first experience of the UCPA Tignes culinary excellence, with roast pork & chicken curry the hot options. After bonding over dinner, the group moved to the team room for a camp induction led by Camp Manager Cory.
Here, the players introduced themselves to the group and picked up their quality STC Teamwear player pack of two branded t-shirts (thanks to UCPA & Impact Gumshields), a waterproof training top & kit bag.
The opening night closed with some free time, hanging out with the wider group of UCPA camp boys and girls, before heading to the player’s rooms and a reasonably early lights out.
