The 2018 6 Nations Predictions Challenge rules are simple. Each competitor needs to give us a simple match summary plus a winner prediction and winning margin (if a draw was predicted, they need to predict the total match points). It is 5 points for a correct result prediction and 5 points for a correct winning margin/total draw match points total.

The ‘expert’ with the most points at the end of the tournament is crowned the 6 Nations Predictions Challenge ‘King of the Picks’, whilst the person finishing last needs to make a public donation (amount TBC) to our 2018 Charity partner Unicef Ireland at our upcoming Unicef Ireland Charity Rugby Clinics in Ireland in April.

PredictionScotland by 15 points

Neil Marchant (English @NeilMarchant2) – It is last chance saloon for Italy and me. I’m guessing so why not a home win?!

Graham Ross (Irish @GrahamRoss76) – On any other year you’d fancy Italy at home to the Scots but the two sides are going in very different directions. Scotland, easily PredictionScotland by 35 points

Saturday 17 March – England v Ireland, 1445hrs kick off

Johan – Expect this to be a very tactical and physical game.  Ireland will just have too much and will take the Slam late on
PredictionIreland by 3 points

Johne – See my full preview here – Ireland to get the job done, just
Prediction – Ireland by 4 points

Philippe – This will be a great game but I fear it is too much for Ireland to go to Twickenham and win against a very sore England
PredictionEngland by 6 points

Neil – If this one doesn’t work out, I’m revoking my membership of the Eddie Jones Fan Club
PredictionEngland by 10 points

Cory – Ireland’s inexperience in some key positions might just count against them against a bitter, desperate England team  PredictionEngland by 4 points

Graham – massive test for Ireland but they have the form, the youth, the experience and the coach to get the job done! PredictionIreland by 6 points

Saturday 17 March – Wales v France, 1630hrs kick off

Johan – Wales have been unlucky this 6 Nations but will end it on a high against a French team who peaked last week in Paris
PredictionWales by 7 points

Johne – should be a great test match with Wales having just too much fitness and flair for a tiring France
PredictionWales by 9 points

Philippe – France reached their high last week but Cardiff is difficult and after a long Championship, Wales will be too strong
PredictionWales by 11 points

Neil – Allez Les Bleus! It’s my final chance to rescue my reputation….
PredictionFrance by 10 points

Cory – Wales will want to grab second place in the Championship and will have too much firepower for France PredictionWales by 12 points

Graham Ross – Tight game if France haven’t burnt themselves out after their England win  PredictionWales by 4 points

Thanks to everyone who has followed our travails over the last few months and best of luck to all involved in the 2018 6 Nations Predictions Challenge for this final weekend of games.
